My suit was easy to get covered, and was done so very early. Â A chance visit my folks took into an antique shop in the Monterey area revealed an original 1920's Morning suit.

It is rather like the one the gent in the middle is wearing, and fits me almost like a glove. Â Except, it's a suit and not a glove. Â The material is simply beautiful. Â Imagine this suit complemented with top hat, shirt, cravat and stompy boots... hehehe, it'll be fun.
Jennie's costuming is a bit more involved. Â We've spent a couple weekends with my Mom and her best friend Dori working on the 1880's riding habit we're constructing for the big day. Â

Jennie pointed out that since her dress is roughly circa 1880s, and my suit is roughly circa 1920s that the general costuming theme is Fin de siècle.  We are taking our historically themed clothing and adding modern punk-rock accessories in to make it our own. Â
Therefore, please feel free to dress accordingly. Â If you happen to have fancy clothing that is both wedding appropriate and fits an Edwardian to Georgian aesthetic, please join us. Â If you want to look fabulous in your own way, do it. Â I'm wearing combat boots and a bullet belt with my suit, and jennie is wearing motorcycle boots. Â Use your imagination, and have fun. Â
If you do not have silly clothes of a similar manner, don't stress. Â This will be a morning to afternoon event, so regular fancy schmancy dress will be just fine.
The most important thing is to have your presence on that day, not necessarily what you look like.  However, we love dressing up all fancy, and love it when our friends do as well.
We can't wait to see you all on that big day in all your finery.

After work today Jennie and I headed down to Mountain View to meet with the wonderful Victoria, Corsetier Extraordinaire. The corset that Jennie will wear with her wedding dress was nearly perfectly fit at this first draft. Victoria is truly an artiste, and the finished piece will be beautiful.
I'll post some pictures over the weekend of the fitting.

Jennie and I are excitedly planning our new life together, and cannot wait to share our joy with you. This sounds like the same typical hyperbolic nonsense that allows Hallmark to pay their bills every year, but it really is true.
Hopefully this resource will allow us all to communicate better in one location, and plan for the upcoming festivities all about my dearest Jennie. Well, I guess also about that schmuck often seen on her arm.
When I find that guy I'M GONNA KILL HIM DEAD.
...
Check in here often for more details regarding things nuptual, celebratory, personal, and of course schmoopy. Installment 1 of the fairy tale story of our meeting and mutual intrigue is coming soon...
