We went to a Japanese restaurant, and in a fit of silly schmoopiness I tied a bit of rice noodle from her soup around her finger and asked her to marry me.

She of course said yes.  And laughed.  
And then we ate the noodle.  It was the yummiest engagement ring I've ever eaten.
